It only takes a visit to your local shelter to feel the magnitude of the problem of abandoned pets. Even just driving around town and paying attention you can see how many animals are roaming the streets. This is not right.

Please stop by and support this amazing exhibit. I visited the opening night and the quality of the work was outstanding. This is one of the many views that San Miguel de Allende has to offer, and I’m thrilled that Trisha and Doug picked this gorgeous town for their bridal session and yup a mini getaway! As many of you know I hold SMA very dear to my heart, since this is where I started my photography journey 10 years ago. We have a full schedule for our trip, including shooting, exploring the town and yup! party time too :)

Remember Michael and Jennifer ? well after I posted Christel’s (jennifer’s sister) +Javi engagement session I realized that I never got to blog Jennifer’s bridal, so since I can’t blog Christel’s yet … I leave you with Jennifer’s bridal session in Austin, not too long ago ;)

Last but not least….I will be out of town from Nov 6th-11th, I will be in NYC photographing Jessica+Will’s wedding. I have to say that I’m thrilled ! We had a blast shooting their engagement session and I can’t wait for the big day! other surprises coming up as well, stay tuned :) you can follow what I’m up to in NY through twitter, so make sure you come back to read the latest :)

After some schedule conflicts due to lots of travel on both sides, I finally got to meet Claudia to shoot her headshot for her upcoming website and promotional materials. She is a very talented artist from Brownsville, TX and already has pieces exhibiting in N.Y, how cool is that! I have to say that I had a blast, she was a lot of fun to photograph !

how does a 1lb kitty gets on the middle of the expressway ?…..I rather not get into that now.

But I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Rosemary. who first spotted her, did not look away and actually did something about it. To Circe who is my good friend, neighbor and my hero! she always answers my calls when I do not know what to do in these type of situations and actually rescued “bella” from the traffic, and Lucinda for giving “bella” a chance to a forever home :)

Bella has been staying with me and I’m thrilled to report that Bella is doing great ! a few scratches but very playful and will go to her forever home next week with Lucinda from sandy feet we just have to convince Peach :) (her other furry kid). I’m so happy she is going to be in great hands :) Thank you Lucinda!

hello beautiful people :)
this year I have traveled to a lot of places, some new some not that new. some far some rather close, some even around the corner ;) …but what makes these travels so amazing is the connection between couples that I’m so lucky to witness. their stories, their open hearts and willingness to open up and share them with me.

so this is just a quick note to let you know that I just got back from a quick trip, I’ve also been working on returning your calls and emails, thank you so much for being so patient :)

I have a new session coming up, and the image above is one of my favorites, the wonderful couple is part of the image, in a very subtle way, so make sure to check back in the next few days to see this amazing session.
